To be clear, @party is about creating digital art with your own hands and brain. If you don’t know how to do something, there are people here to learn from and collaborate with. That’s supposed to be part of the fun!

If this isn’t what you’re looking for, and you instead want to generate programs, images, and music via a tool backed by the work of uncredited and uncompensated artists and coders, @party is not the event for you. A year from now, maybe we’ll have social standards for how we can ethically use tools of this nature, but for now we’re going to continue doing things the old fashioned way.
